Installing Yoyo Returns
Add Yoyo Returns to your Shopify store, approve the permissions it needs, and pick a plan.
What it is
Yoyo Returns installs from the Shopify App Store like any other app. It runs inside your Shopify admin, so there is no separate account to create and no extra login to remember.
Once installed, it appears in your admin sidebar under Apps, with its own sections for Returns, Return Rules, Intelligence, Portal, Order Editing and Settings.
Why it matters
Everything Yoyo does happens on your real Shopify data. Returns land as native Shopify returns, exchanges appear on the original order, and store credit is issued as Shopify gift cards. Installing the app and approving its permissions is what makes all of that possible.

How to install
Find Yoyo Returns on the Shopify App Store
Search for "Yoyo Returns" on the App Store, or use the Add to Shopify button on yoyoreturns.com. Both take you to the same listing.
Click Install and review permissions
Shopify shows you exactly what the app can access before anything is installed. Yoyo asks for access to orders, products and customers because that is what returns are made of. It never touches anything it has not asked for.
Land in onboarding
After install, Yoyo opens straight into its setup flow. It takes about 15 minutes and is covered step by step in the onboarding walkthrough.
Pick a plan when you are ready
You can explore the app before committing. A banner at the top of the Returns page shows View plans whenever you have not chosen one yet. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, billed through Shopify, so there is no separate card to enter.
Notes
- Billing runs entirely through Shopify. The charge appears on your normal Shopify invoice.
- You can uninstall at any time from Settings → Apps and sales channels in Shopify admin. Your Shopify data stays untouched, because everything Yoyo created is native Shopify data.
- If your store is on a development plan, everything works the same way, which is handy for testing before a real launch.
