Does the upsell feel pushy?+
No. Recommendations appear as a natural option alongside the free swap, on the same screen in the same flow. The customer always has the like-for-like exchange right there.
How does the AI pick what to recommend?+
It reads the return reason, checks your live inventory and margin, and ranks alternatives by how likely they are to convert. You can tune the priority (margin vs. conversion) and set a max price cap.
How does the customer pay the difference?+
The price difference is settled in the exchange checkout with the same payment method, no separate transaction. If the upgrade is cheaper, they get the difference back.
Can I control which products are recommended?+
Yes. You can exclude specific products or collections, set a maximum price increase percentage, and prioritise by margin or conversion rate.
